FOR THE FALL SEASON /SEP OCT NOV/ THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN
GRAND FORKS HAD BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND ABOVE NORMAL
PRECIPITATION.

THE NWS AVERAGED 38.7 DEGREES WHICH WAS 4.3 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.
2018 WAS THE NINTH COLDEST FALL SEASON ON RECORD. THE COLDEST FALL
SEASON OCCURRED IN 1897 WHICH AVERAGED 34.2 DEGREES.

6.45 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION FELL DURING THE FALL SEASON /SEP OCT
NOV/. NORMAL PRECIPITATION DURING THE FALL SEASON IS 4.87 INCHES
WHICH WAS 1.58 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. 2018 WAS THE 17TH WETTEST FALL
ON RECORD. THE WETTEST FALL OCCURRED IN 2008 WITH 11.97 INCHES.

SNOWFALL FOR THE FALL SEASON WAS ABOVE NORMAL. NORMAL SNOW IS 7.1
INCHES. THE NWS RECEIVED 13.8 INCHES FOR THE PERIOD. 2018 WAS 13TH
