...THE FOLLOWING RIVERS ARE FORECAST TO RISE NEAR OR ABOVE FLOOD
STAGE BY LATER THIS WEEKEND...

  Rifle River at Sterling

Warming temperatures and subsequent snow melt is expected to cause a
gradual rise in river levels on the Rifle River near Sterling in
Arenac County.  The river may rise above its flood stage of 6 feet
at some point later Sunday.

Continue to monitor later forecasts and possible Flood Warnings
later this weekend.
