PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast, though the river may rise to near major flood stage in
the next few days, as water upstream is routed from Trinidad and
Richland Chambers reservoir.
* WHERE...Trinity River near Long Lake (Oakwood).
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 45.0 feet, Major flooding of ranches and farm lands
along the river is expected. The Coffield Prison farm and ranch
interests will be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 43.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 44.8
feet early Saturday afternoon.
