The National Weather Service in The San Francisco Bay Area has
extended the

* Flood Warning for Urban Areas and Small Streams in...
  Southeastern Sonoma County in northern California...

* Until 745 PM PST.

* At 430 PM PST, stream gauges indicate that flooding continues
  along creeks in Sonoma County, including the Green Valley Creek,
  Mark West Creek, and Colgan Creek. Water levels are slowly
  receding on these creeks, but they will likely remain above flood
  stage through early evening. Showers are forecast overnight, but
  widespread heavy rain is no longer expected. Therefore, stream
  levels should continue to recede.

* Some locations that will experience continued flooding include...
  Rohnert Park, Sebastopol, Forestville, and Guerneville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are many low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous when flooding is occurring. Do not attempt to
cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
