A shallow marine layer of 500-1,000 feet will keep the coast cool and moist today. Above the marine layer, above normal temperatures continue with poor minimum daytime relative humidity. Moderate to excellent recovery is expected. Diurnal onshore winds will increase through the day, peaking this afternoon and evening with gusts of 30-40 mph through gaps and passes, across ridgelines, and down northwest-southeast oriented valleys. Winds will remain elevated overnight with similar conditions expected through Sunday. Cooler and moister conditions are expected tomorrow and Sunday with below normal temperatures and an increase in relative humidity. Light rain chances return Monday into Tuesday.
