Building heat from the early to midweek will push temperatures and heat indices into the 90s to lower 100s in many areas by Tuesday and perhaps Wednesday. Moderate to major heat risk could develop, which means the heat could affect anyone without effective cooling or adequate hydration. Be prepared to enact heat-related safety measures.
