A WIND GUST OF 53 MPH FROM THE WEST OCCURRED AT 1140 AM EDT AT THE
GAINESVILLE REGIONAL AIRPORT. THIS SET A NEW RECORD FOR APRIL
19TH BREAKING THE OLD RECORD GUST OF 35 MPH SET IN 1998.

THIS IS THE 2ND HIGHEST WIND GUST OF ALL-TIME FOR THE MONTH OF
APRIL IN GAINESVILLE. THE ALL-TIME RECORD IS 56 MPH ON APRIL 30
2010. WIND GUST RECORDS IN GAINESVILLE DATE BACK TO 1973.

THE SEA LEVEL PRESSURE FELL TO 1004.3 MB OR 29.67 INCHES OF MERCURY
AT 450 PM EDT AT THE GAINESVILLE AIRPORT TODAY. THIS SETS A NEW
RECORD LOW FOR APRIL 19TH BREAKING THE 1006.1 MB SET IN 1988.
