THE AREA OF LOW PRESSURE THAT BROUGHT PROLONGED RAINFALL TO THE
REGION LATE THIS WEEK WILL MOVE OFF TO THE EAST TODAY, ALLOWING
HIGH PRESSURE TO BUILD ACROSS THE QUAD STATE REGION.

ALTHOUGH DRY WEATHER WILL BE THE RULE TODAY FROM WEST TO TO EAST,
BRISK NORTHERLY WINDS WILL KEEP A SHARP GRADIENT OF TEMPERATURES
ACROSS THE REGION. UPPER 60S ARE EXPECTED IN THE FOOT HILLS OF
SOUTHEAST MISSOURI, WHILE MIDDLE 50S ARE LIKELY TODAY FROM
OWENSBORO TO ELKTON KENTUCKY.

DRY AND WARMER CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST INTO TUESDAY, WITH
TEMPERATURES WARMING INTO THE 70S TO NEAR 80 FROM SUNDAY THROUGH
TUESDAY. TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S ARE EXPECTED MOST OF NEXT WEEK.

SMALL RAIN CHANCES ARE EXPECTED TO RETURN FROM WEST TO EAST FROM
DURING THE MIDDLE AND LATTER PART OF NEXT WEEK.
