...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN UNION COUNTY
THROUGH 515 PM MDT...

At 446 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles north of Mount Dora, or 20 miles northwest of Clayton, moving
east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Clayton Lake State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
northeastern New Mexico.
