GAC033-SCC003-011-010030- /O.NEW.KCAE.FA.Y.0012.240430T2132Z-240501T0030Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Burke GA-Aiken SC-Barnwell SC- 532 PM EDT Tue Apr 30 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of east central Georgia, including the following county, Burke and central South Carolina, including the following counties, Aiken and Barnwell. * WHEN...Until 830 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 530 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
