...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 1 PM CDT
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations
  of up to two inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze.

* WHERE...Benton, Linn, Jones and Jackson Counties.

* WHEN...From 4 AM to 1 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and greatly reduced
  visibilities during periods of heavy snow. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A sharp gradient of snow amounts could
  occur, with the higher amounts in the northern portions of the
  counties. Snowfall rates may approach an inch per hour at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

  inches north of Highway 20 and 1 to 3 inches to the south.

* WHERE...In Iowa, Buchanan, Delaware and Dubuque Counties. In
  Illinois, Jo Daviess and Stephenson Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 1 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and greatly reduced
  visibilities during periods of heavy snow. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the morning commute.
