.DISCUSSION...
Thursday looks like a day that will be dominated by partly cloudy skies
light winds and slowly declining relative humidity. A minimum humidity
values near 35% is expected after 3 PM. The odds of the humidity reaching
25% are less than 1%. Winds will be very light from the west in the morning,
then turn southwest gradually between 1 PM and 4 PM. Given the partial
sheltering, the eye level winds may be calm at the burn site before 10 AM.
Transport winds will be equally as light, generally 6 mph or less for most
or all of the day. No wetting rainfall is expected Thursday, and
precipitation on Friday should hold off until the evening. Due to the weak
winds and modest boundary layer mixing, smoke dispersal will be poor to
fair on Thursday. These conditions should improve on Friday.
