Today will start off with partly to mostly cloudy skies, with weak southwesterly winds. Could see some weak showers pass overhead between 8 to 10 AM, but little to no accumulation is expected with no threat for lightning. Throughout the rest of the day, cloud coverage will increase, with a surface high pressure sliding directly overhead, and will bring numerous changes to the wind direction. After starting with light southwesterly winds, westerly winds are expected by the mid-morning, northerly around noon, easterly by the mid afternoon hours possibly becoming southeasterly as the surface high exits the region during the late afternoon hours. May see gusts develop into the teens by the late afternoon hours, with chances for light rain building into the area throughout the afternoon hours.
