Areas of fog, some locally dense, developed across south
central Kansas and the Flint Hills during the early morning
predawn hours. Meanwhile, a cold front moved into north central
Kansas. Predawn temperatures ranged from the mid-40s to around 50
degrees.

The cold front will continue to move southward across mid-America
today and will be well south of the region by later tonight. There
will be a chance for showers along the front early today across
southern Iowa and northern Missouri with rain changing to snow
across northern Iowa. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible
this afternoon and evening across southern Missouri, northwest
Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma.

High temperatures today will range from the mid-30s to the mid-40s
across Iowa and northeast Nebraska to the lower 70s in southern
Missouri, northwest Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma. Lows tonight
will generally fall into the 20s and 30s, except for colder teens
in northern Iowa and northeast Nebraska.
