...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF WALTHALL AND PIKE
COUNTIES THROUGH 130 AM CDT
...

At 1245 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Salem, or 16 miles west of Columbia, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mccomb, Magnolia, Summit, Tylertown, Osyka, Salem, Dexter, and Mccomb
Airport.

This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and
24.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for
southeastern Louisiana...and southern Mississippi.
