NORTHWESTERN FRANKLIN...NORTHEASTERN OSAGE...SOUTHWESTERN WARREN AND
NORTHERN GASCONADE COUNTIES UNTIL 1030 PM CDT...

At 941 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Chamois to near Swiss to Gerald. Movement
was northeast at 25 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Hermann, New Haven, Gerald, Chamois, Treloar, Gasconade, Berger,
Rhineland, Morrison, McKittrick and Holstein.

This also includes  Deutschheim Historic Site.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in St Louis.
