...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Mild and sunnier weather for the remainder of today into the first
portion of Monday. By Monday afternoon and evening a southerly wind
reversal will occur along the coast with a return of coastal marine
stratus and fog. Stratus will move inland into the lower elevations
Monday night and linger into Tuesday morning. Some drizzle may occur
during this time but no wetting rain is expected. The pattern will
remain cool and unsettled through the rest of the week with more
cloud cover and moist onshore winds. A weak weather system will
bring some light rain to the region on Friday. This system looks
showery so rain amounts will be variable. A wetting rainfall is
unlikely for most locations outside of the coastal ranges where
0.1-0.25" is possible.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Dry weather along above normal temperatures will continue through
Monday. Breezy northerly winds will developed for the coastal areas
this afternoon. Peak gusts (late afternoon and early evening) of
25 to 35 mph are likely in many exposed locations; locally higher
over the coastal headland and ridgetops. Winds subside during the
evening, while offshore flow component develop and increase tonight.
Breezy offshore winds is forecast over the exposed ridges tonight
through Monday morning, especially in Del Norte County where gusts
from 25-35 mph are likely. A weak system will bring a slight chance
and chance of isolated showers or thunderstorm over the higher
terrain in Trinity County on Tuesday. A more active, cooler weather
pattern is expected mid to late next week.
