...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN RED RIVER...NORTH
CENTRAL NATCHITOCHES AND SOUTHWESTERN BIENVILLE PARISHES THROUGH 1000
PM CDT...

At 932 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Coushatta, or 21 miles northwest of Natchitoches, moving north at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Coushatta, Ringgold, Martin, Hall Summit, Lucky, Ashland, Castor,
Edgefield, Jamestown, Womack, Hanna, and Armistead.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northwestern
Louisiana.
