Gulf coastal waters from Bonita Beach to the mouth of the
Suwannee River out to 60 NM.

Important notice to mariners...marine forecasts are issued at
least four times a day. Boaters on extended trips should
routinely monitor subsequent forecast issuances and updates for
the latest marine weather information.

The wave heights are forecast as significant wave height which is
the average of the highest one-third of the waves. The highest
waves may rarely be twice the significant wave height. The winds
and seas near thunderstorms may be higher than forecast.

Synopsis for the coastal waters from Bonita Beach to Suwannee River-
257 PM EDT Thu May 9 2024

.SYNOPSIS...
Wind will continue to be out of the southern direction for
the rest of our work week and generally below 15 knots. A front will
come through late in the day on Friday which could produce a few
showers in our northern waters. After that winds will shift
northwest on Saturday and then Northeast on Sunday but once again
should stay below 15 knots. By Monday winds go back southeast and we
will be expecting some seabreeze thunderstorms in the afternoon
that could drift towards the coast into the evening hours.
