.DISCUSSION...

A westerly flow aloft continues across the area tonight and
increases on Tuesday ahead of a strong cold front that moves
through the area Tuesday evening. Ridgetops and areas with
exposure to west winds will see some gusts as high as 25 mph
overnight but lighter winds are likely to persist overnight in
more sheltered areas. Dry conditions are expected through Tuesday
afternoon with with gusty west winds becoming more widespread as the
day progresses. A strong cold front arrives Tuesday evening with a
shift to gusty north winds and falling temperatures with snow
developing after the fronts arrival late Tuesday evening.
