Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
236 PM EDT Sun May 5 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms expected today
and Monday, mainly favoring the afternoon. A bit drier air will
push into the area mid-week, but moisture remaining over the area
will allow isolated showers and storms to still be possible in the
afternoon and evening. A stronger low pressure system approaches
the area Friday with widespread showers and storms expected once
again.

Fog potential: Patchy fog possible.
