Fire Weather Planning Forecast for South Central Texas
National Weather Service Austin/San Antonio TX
218 PM CDT Fri May 25 2018

.DISCUSSION...
No meaningful wetting rains will be in the forecast for the next 7
days. This will begin a drying period for fuels that will continue
to worsen with time. As of today, the forecast ERC and fuel
dryness values from Texas A&M Forest Service show at or above
normal moisture content due to rains from last week so fire
weather concerns are low today. Min RH values will likely dip
into the 20-30 percent range for the Rio Grande Plains tomorrow.
Winds will be breezy in the afternoon from 10-20 mph with the
occasional gust to 25 mph mostly along the Rio Grande.
