Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Middle Tennessee
National Weather Service Nashville TN
434 AM CDT Wed May 23 2018

.DISCUSSION...

Less in the way of rainfall is expected today through Thursday as
upper ridging builds back across the area. Surface high to our north
will bring drier air into the lower levels. As a result, look for rh
values to come down, but wind speeds will remain well below marginal
fire danger levels.

In the extended forecast, upper ridge will give way as upper
troughing reestablishes itself over the deep and mid south. Within
the trough, an upper level low will attempt to close off as it moves
slowly northward. Rain chances will pick up once again, although
rainfall totals will be somewhat modest.
