This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion
Accumulating wet snow of 1 to 3 inches is expected through early
afternoon across portions of southwest and west central Kansas.
Please refer to the latest Winter Weather Message for more details
on this hazard.

* Non-thunderstorm wind: Elevated risk
* Snow: Elevated risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Days 2-7 Discussion
As temperatures warm back up into the 70s and 80s later in the
week, fire weather risk will increase. Friday looks to be the
day of greatest concern regarding potential for widespread
critical fire weather conditions to develop given the anticipated
very warm temperatures, very low relative humidity, and fairly
strong southwest winds.
