Past 24 hour precipitation...
Rain showers and thunderstorms moved through the area
over the past 24 hours. Rainfall amounts ranged from one-quarter
/0.25/ to one /1.00/ inch. The heaviest rainfall was recorded
along and south of I-70 between Zanesville, OH and New Stanton, PA.
Some isolated areas recorded over two inches of precipitation.


Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall is forecast to range from a trace
to one-half /0.50/ of an inch. Rainfall amounts increase from west to
east across the region with the higher amounts falling in the ridges.

River trends...
Minor rises are expected over the next 12 hours across the
Monongahela River basin. The remainder of the district river levels
will remain stationary or fall slowly during the next 48 hours.
