The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Pensacola FL out
  20 NM...
  Eastern Choctawhatchee Bay...
  Western Choctawhatchee Bay...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 530 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near East
  Choctawhatchee Bay, or near Santa Rosa Beach, moving west at 10
  knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  West Choctawhatchee Bay, Fort Walton Beach, Shalimar, Destin, East
  Pass At Destin, East Choctawhatchee Bay, Okaloosa Pier, Mid Bay
  Bridge and Santa Rosa Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or the National Weather
Service.
