This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Widespread windy conditions will continue today with gusts 50 to 60 mph across the mountains and foothills. Across the plains wind gusts will be in the 40 to 50 mph range with a few higher gusts over the Palmer Divide. Snow will continue in the mountains with blowing snow and poor visibility over the higher passes. The dry and windy conditions will create critical fire weather conditions for southern Lincoln County. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday There will be snow showers and a few thunderstorms over the mountains Wednesday and Thursday. Any snow accumulation will be light. Meanwhile, the plains will be mostly dry Wednesday, and then see a higher chance of light rain showers by Thursday. For Friday through the weekend and into early next week, there should be a gradual warming trend. No significant weather is expected, with just a chance or slight chances of showers most days. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. $$
