This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Damaging winds or an isolated tornado are possible this afternoon
into this evening. Heavy rainfall from thunderstorms may lead to
isolated instances of flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

A Coastal Flood Watch is in effect for the potential of moderate
coastal flooding during the Friday morning high tide. This watch
includes shoreline in the District of Columbia, Arlington and the
City of Alexandria, and Anne Arundel and St. Mary`s Counties.

A Gale Watch is in effect Friday night and Saturday for the
Maryland portion of the Chesapeake Bay and adjoining estuaries
north of Smith Point VA, and the tidal Potomac River from Key
Bridge to Smith Point VA.

Gusty winds could result in isolated wind damage in the wake of
the front at times Friday into Saturday.

Spotter activation may be needed Thursday and Thursday night.

Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.

Damaging winds or an isolated tornado are possible this afternoon
into this evening. Heavy rainfall from thunderstorms may lead to
isolated instances of flooding.

A Wind Advisory is in effect this afternoon and evening for the
northern and central Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Gusty winds could result in isolated wind damage in the wake of
the front at times Friday into Saturday.

counties in western Maryland, eastern West Virginia, and Highland
County Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Damaging winds and an isolated tornado are possible this afternoon
and evening. Heavy rainfall from thunderstorms may lead to
isolated instances of flooding.

A Wind Advisory is in effect this afternoon and evening along and
west of the Allegheny Front.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Gusty winds could result in isolated wind damage in the wake of
the front at times Friday into Saturday.
