As of 545 PM, North Buffalo Creek at Westover Terrace in Greensboro may be coming out of its banks and Brush Creek at Murifield Rd may also be overflowing its banks. * WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following county, Guilford. * WHEN...Until 845 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 539 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Richland Creek, Horsepen Creek, Ryan Creek, Brush Creek, Long Branch, Little Alamance Creek, Big Alamance Creek, Belews Creek, Haw River, Muddy Creek, Deep River, Beaver Creek, East Fork Deep River, Rock Branch, Reedy Fork, South Buffalo Creek, and North Buffalo Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Greensboro, High Point, McLeansville, Summerfield, Gibsonville, Stokesdale, Pleasant Garden, Jamestown, Forest Oaks, Monticello, Haw River State Park, Climax, and Colfax. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
