.DISCUSSION...
Southwesterly 20 foot winds around 10 mph are expected on Monday.
Transport winds will also be from the southwest around 20 mph.
Wetting rainfall is expected to be on fuels. Scattered to more
widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue
through the day, especially north of the Tennessee River. Mixing
heights are still expected to climb to between 5000 and 6000 feet
in the afternoon hours. RH values will remain high in the afternoon.
Scattered to more numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected
on Tuesday. Some o these could be strong to severe. 20 foot winds
will remain from the southwest around 15 mph. Transport winds
will be from the southwest as well between 20 and 25 mph. Mixing
heights are not expected to change much still reaching 5000 to
5500 in the afternoon. RH values will remain high in the afternoon.
Fog potential over the next few days: None is expected tonight
due to cloud cover.
Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None are expected at this
time.
