A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...

Nearshore waters from Sturgeon Bay to Sheboygan...
Open waters of Lake Michigan from Rock Island Passage to Sheboygan...

At 937 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a band of showers capable of
producing wind gusts to around 30 knots. The leading edge of the band
of showers extended from 15 nm east of Cana Island Light to 15 nm east
of Kewaunee Pierhead Light to neasr Sheboygan, moving east at 35 knots.

The gusty winds will be primary over the open waters between Washington
Island and Sheboygan.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
