...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM AST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Puerto Rico, including the following
  counties, Arecibo, Barceloneta, Catano, Ciales, Dorado, Florida,
  Manati, Morovis, Toa Baja, Utuado, Vega Alta and Vega Baja.

* WHEN...Until 730 PM AST.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. River or
  stream flows are elevated. Ponding of water in urban or other
  areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 424 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Arecibo, Florida, Ciales, Manati, Barceloneta, Morovis, Vega
    Baja, Utuado, Vega Alta, Dorado, Toa Alta, Toa Baja, Sabana
    Seca, Catano, Guaynabo, Ceiba, Pajonal, Imbery, La Alianza
    and La Luisa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
