Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the MidSouth
National Weather Service Memphis TN
350 PM CDT Sat Jun 23 2018

.DISCUSSION...

Several upper level disturbances will move through the region this
weekend setting off scattered to numerous showers and
thunderstorms across the area. Some storms could be strong to
severe. High temperatures will increase slightly over the weekend
especially over locations that do not receive any rainfall.

By early next week, an upper ridge of high pressure will build
over the region decreasing the chances for rain while increasing
the temperatures across the area. Highs will return to the lower
to mid 90s.

The upper ridge will likely remain over the Mid-South through at
least the end of next week. As a result, hot and humid conditions
are expected with little chances for rainfall.
