...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT LEE...SOUTHEASTERN ST. FRANCIS
AND NORTHWESTERN PHILLIPS COUNTIES THROUGH 430 AM CDT...

At 358 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Brickeys, or 8 miles southeast of Madison, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Marianna, Marvell, Lexa, Widener, Rondo, Aubrey, Haynes, Brickeys,
New Home, Lagrange, Jeffersonville, Cody, Kokomo, Oak Forest, Westor,
Haleside, Mud Lake, Soudan, Latour, and Turkey Scratch.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for northwestern
Mississippi.
