Locally heavy rain is expected tonight and Tuesday, with minor
flooding possible in low lying areas.

Minor coastal flooding will be possible tonight and Tuesday, for
areas adjacent to the Pamlico Sound and rivers, as strong southeast
winds develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

through Tuesday night as strong southeast winds develop.

Rough surf, dangerous shore break, and an elevated rip current risk
are expected tonight through Wednesday.
