...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Chesterfield and
northeastern Kershaw Counties through 715 PM EDT...

At 626 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Clyde, or 11 miles northwest of Hartsville, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cheraw, Pageland, Chesterfield, Carolina Sandhills Wildlife Refuge,
Cheraw State Park, Mt Pisgah, Northeastern Technical College, Cheraw
Municipal Airport, Mcbee, Jefferson, Society Hill, Ruby, Patrick,
Bethune, Mount Croghan, McFarlan, Chesterfield Ruby Middle School,
High Point Fire Station, Cheraw Fish Hatchery, and Alligator Fire
Station.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
central South Carolina.
