...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN DUVAL...NORTHEASTERN
WEBB...SOUTHEASTERN LA SALLE...MCMULLEN AND SOUTHWESTERN LIVE OAK
COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM CDT...

At 401 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Tilden to 8 miles west of Loma Alta to 16 miles
south of Fort Ewell Site. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Freer, Tilden, Simmons, Seven Sisters, and Loma Alta.

This includes US Highway 59 between mile markers 742 and 762, and
between mile markers 768 and 786.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
south central Texas.
