...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN POTTER AND
NORTHWESTERN TIOGA COUNTIES THROUGH 345 AM EDT...

At 239 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 21
miles west of Wellsboro, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Elkland, Galeton, Westfield, Lawrenceville, Gaines, Millerton,
Keeneyville, Cherry Springs State Park, Denton Hill State Park, Lyman
Run State Park, Tioga, Knoxville, Osceola, Tioga Junction, and Ski
Denton Ski Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
