This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwest Iowa,
west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, east central South
Dakota, and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Although scattered showers will be possible today, northwest winds
with gusts up to 40 mph will lead to elevated fire danger.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Warm, dry, and breezy conditions this weekend will again lead to
areas of elevated fire weather concerns, especially on Saturday.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely as we get into Monday night
and Tuesday. There is a threat for locally heavy rain and severe
weather, but at this time that threat remains low.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

Northwest winds with gusts of 40 to 50 mph will lead to elevated
and critical fire danger.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Warm, dry, and breezy conditions this weekend will again lead to
areas of elevated fire weather concerns, especially on Saturday.
