...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central Anderson
County through 730 PM CDT...

At 652 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Montalba, or near Palestine, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Anderson
County, including the following locations... Crystal Lake, Pert,
Brushy Creek, Todd City, and Neches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
