Regional Weather Summary

This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds
of Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota.

Today, a low moving across the area will bring moderate to heavy
rainfall. Wind in the southwest will be from the northwest at 35
to 45 mph with some gusts up to 60 mph. While in the northwest
winds will be out of the southeast at 25 to 35 mph. High will
range from the upper 40s in central Montana to the lower 60s over
the Plains.

Tonight, moderate to heavy rainfall will continue through the
night along with strong winds. Some area creeks and streams will
be begin to rise in response. Lows will stretch from the mid 30s
in central Montana to the mid 40s in the plains along the MT/ND
border.

Tuesday, most places will continue the see moderate rainfall with
the heaviest shifting from northeastern Montana to north central
Montana. Winds will also stay high out of the northwest across the
area. Highs will stretch from the lower 40s over central Montana
to the the mid 50s over northwestern North Dakota and southeastern
Saskatchewan.
