This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...

Thursday continues to look impactful with near critical to critical
fire weather to potentially significant severe weather. The most
likely threat would be severe weather across most of the area during
the afternoon to late evening hours. All severe hazards would be
possible, but large hail would be the main threat. The concern for
tornadoes has increased. There are a few modes of failure that may
limit the hazards and coverage area for severe weather. The other
possible hazards with the system include convectively-driven blowing
dust, and breezy winds, though confidence is low in these hazards at
this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected tonight.
