The Flood Warning has expired for a portion of southeast Texas, including the following areas, Brazos, Chambers, Grimes, Harris, Houston, Liberty, Madison, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker and Waller. The heavy rain has ended, but flooding impacts remain along and near area rivers/creeks/streams especially the San Jacinto, Trinity, and Navasota River basins. Please continue to heed the remaining road closures. Additional rainfall is expected Saturday night into Sunday in areas that have already received excessive amounts of rainfall over the past few days.
