...River Statement For The Paint Rock River at Woodville...

Runoff from recent rainfall is expected to cause river levels on the
Paint Rock River at Woodville to rise slightly above action stage
overnight. Although it is not expected to reach flood stage, some
nuisance flooding of lowlands may still occur. If additional
rainfall occurs, the river could still reach Flood Stage.

The Paint Rock River at Woodville.
* At 10:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 12.8 feet.
* Action stage is 13.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to crest slightly above action
  stage early Saturday morning.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet...flood waters affect mostly bottom land
  along the river...including low lying farm and pasture lands.

All persons with interests along the river should monitor the latest
forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect
life and property from rising river levels. Additional information
is available at www.weather.gov.
