Weather Summary for Minnesota
National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN
400 AM CDT Fri Mar 16 2018

Tranquil weather with plenty of sunshine will continue for much of
the state today. The notable exception will be in southwestern
portions. A low pressure system sliding east across the central
Plains and through the mid Mississippi River Valley today through
tonight will bring an increase in cloud cover along with a winter
mix of precipitation for southwestern Minnesota, potentially
producing minor snowfall and ice accumulations. After a break from
precipitation over the weekend, additional chances for rain and snow
return to the forecast for the early portion of the next work week.

High temperatures will generally range from the mid 30s to the upper
40s into through weekend, followed by a slight cooling trend through
the first half of next week.
