This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota...and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Rain will change over to a wintry mix with snow and blowing snow
out west. Winter storm Warnings and Blizzard warnings are in
effect. Major impacts are possible with this storm, especially in
southwest Minnesota.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Rain will change over to a wintry mix with snow and blowing snow
out west. Winter storm Warnings and Blizzard warnings are in
effect. Major impacts are possible with this storm, especially in
southwest Minnesota.

The combination of additional snow and rainfall over frozen soil
will increase flood potential over the weekend into next week.
Some area rivers may reach bankfull by Sunday and minor flood
stage by midweek.
