Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Tropical N Atlantic
from 07N to 19N W of 55W, the N Atlantic from 19N to
31N W of 55W including the Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N Atlantic from
07N to 19N W of 55W

.SYNOPSIS...Broad ridge located between Bermuda and the Bahamas will
support fresh to locally strong easterly trade winds in the lee
of Cuba and Windward Passage at night during the next few days.
These winds will gradually decrease this weekend into early next
week as a cold front enters the western Atlantic waters and the
pressure gradient relaxes. However, building ridge behind the
front will support fresh to locally strong winds in the south-central
Caribbean starting Mon.

Synopsis for the the SW N Atlantic including the Bahamas

.SYNOPSIS...A 1013 mb low pres system near 22N58W is producing
scattered showers well east of the center. The low supports fresh
to strong winds and seas to 10 ft within 120 nm of the center in
the eastern quadrant. However, winds and seas may be higher in the
stronger convection. The low will move east of the area later this
morning. The remainder of the SW N Atlantic is dominated by a
subtropical ridge NE of the Bahamas, supporting moderate to fresh
easterly winds south of 27N. Winds and seas in these waters will
diminish as the low pressure moves away and the pressure gradient
relaxes. Looking ahead, moderate to fresh southerly winds will
develop over the Florida offshore waters N of Freeport late Sun
ahead of a cold front forecast to move off NE Florida Sun night.
These winds will reach strong speeds Sun night and diminish to
moderate to fresh speeds Mon.
