.DISCUSSION...
A stalled frontal boundary across South Arkansas is starting to
lift back north as a warm front with southerly to southeasterly
winds returning to all fire districts today. 20 ft wind speeds
will generally range between 6-12 mph with higher gusts around
15-20 mph. With warm air advection prevailing, moisture will be
quite abundant so minimum RH values should remain at or above the
50 percent threshold this afternoon. Mixing heights will range
from around 4000-5500 feet this afternoon with very good mixing
and dispersion. Similar conditions are expected on Friday with
warm temperatures in the upper 70s to mid 80s for daytime highs.
