...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL LITTLE RIVER...
NORTHWESTERN MILLER AND SOUTHEASTERN BOWIE COUNTIES THROUGH 630 AM
CDT...

At 554 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Maud, or near New Boston, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Texarkana, Wake Village, New Boston, Nash, Hooks, Redwater, Maud, Red
Lick, Mandeville, Leary, Mount Pleasant, Red Bank, and Pine Prairie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
