.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

A high risk for rip currents will remain present today at Gulf county
beaches with brisk northerly to northwesterly winds leading to an
along shore flow. The surf today at Gulf county is left over from the
passage of the cold front yesterday, but should diminish throughout
the day today. All other beaches today will remain at a moderate risk
for rip currents as offshore flow will continue to reduce the surf
heights today. High pressure settling into the region today will lead
to a moderate risk for rip currents through the remainder of the work
week.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:

West Facing Gulf Beaches......Double Red
South Facing Gulf Beaches.....Double Red
